Jann has been involved in all facets of the aquatic industry for many years. She has taught babies to adults from beginner to advanced levels. Jann has also worked as an on deck superviser & programs coordinator.
In her current role as School Programs Coordinator Jann is instrumental in developing & implementing new & existing programs. |
Tracy has been working in the aquatics industry for the last 20 years specialising in Infants and Babies for the last 8. Tracy was the winner of the 2006 and 2007 AUSTSWIM NSW Infant and Preschool Teacher of the Year Award and a finalist for the AUSTSWIM National Awards.
As well as teaching Tracy has managed Large Swim Schools. |
Penny Larsen is the National Manager Education and Training for Royal Life Saving Australia. Her position involves developing resources and training initiatives for the water safety programs including Infant Aquatics, Swim and Survive, Bronze Rescue and Junior Life Guard.
Penny's experience in aquatics spans over 20 years and she is passionate about quality aquatic programs and setting high standards of instruction. Her experience includes managing a number of Swim Schools including developing the aquatic programs at Homebush, one of the largest programs in Australia.

| Emma, the youngest of Laurie and Jocelyn's daughters has been working at Laurie Lawrence Swim School since 1999. She works in all areas of the business - teaching babies and learn to swim through to office and administrative duties. |
Laurie Lawrence is a remarkable Australian.
Swim coaching has played an important part in Laurie's life. He has represented Australia in World Championships, Commonwealth Games and Olympic Games as a swim coach. Laurie's pupils were standout performers - breaking many National, Commonwealth and World records in their gold medal winning performances.

Kirk is the Chairman of AUSTSWIM. Kirk was the editor of the fi rst edition of the AUSTSWIM Manual for Teaching Swimming and Water Safety and has
contributed to all subsequent editions.
Kirk has also contributed to the Australian Surf Coaching and Triathlon Manuals as well as numerous other Swimming Coaching Texts and Publications. |

Janelle has been teaching swimming for 21 years and presented over 120 AUSTSWIM courses in the past 16 years. Her analysis of strokes stems from her University research in Butterfly. She is a secondary school teacher who also conducts learn to swim lessons for all ages. Janelle presented at the AUSTSWIM Conference in 2005, 2007 and numerous AUSTSWIM Qld workshops.

Swimming Australia is the peak body for competitive swimming in Australia. SAL currently has approximately 95,000 registered members nationally in 1050 clubs across the country.
Olympian and current Swimming Australia Sport Development Manager Adam Pine will be on hand to provide you with an insight into how SAL oversees the management and development of our great sport through ‘grass roots’ participation and a swimming for life mentality.

Marcelle is a teacher of First Aid and also owns and operates Aquatic Education, a vocational training business. This business incorporates first aid and aquatic education programs for people wishing to enter the aquatics industry. Marcelle has presented for AUSTSWIM at the Queensland and National Conferences.
Marcelle has held her AUSTSWIM certificate for over 10 years and holds the AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming and Water Safety the Australian Way, Teacher of Infant and Preschool Aquatics, Teacher of Swimming to People with a Disability, AUSTSWIM Teacher of Swimming to Adults, AUSTSWIM Teacher of Competitive Strokes and Swimming Queensland Bronze Licence. |

| Floss became AUSTSWIM qualified in 1989 and is AUSTSWIM qualified in Infants and Preschool, Towards Competitive Strokes, Adults and Presenter. She has taught swimming in rural and remote locations. Floss is an AUSTSWIM Board Member and commits to the culture of AUSTSWIM, with a progressive and professional forward direction. |
Originally from Sydney, Lee has lived and travelled extensively. Leaving a career in health care 12 years ago she began a career in aquatics teaching swimming and lifeguarding. Lee is an experienced AUSTSWIM Presenter, has her own private swimming business and is currently the Swim Program Co-ordinator for Brewer Swimming in Sydney. |
Swimmer, teacher, coach, presenter. Believing that everyone should be able to swim life long and that swimming teachers should never ve limited. Carolyn has taught infants to National Swimmers and trained instructors for more than 35 years. |
