Pio’s numerous appearances as a comedian, actor, radio and television host, musician and performer over the last decade have established him as one of New Zealand’s most popular and personable entertainers. He has had many years of invaluable experience behind the scenes, as a producer, company director and programme creator for Pipi Productions & 4 Winds Films, and his roles in locally produced shows such as Are we there Yet?, My Kind of Kai, Intrepid Journeys, Hows Life, Spin Doctors & Matuku have made him a familiar face with an appeal that spans generations. You will have also seen Pio on the big screen in Spooked, in the award winning film Number 2, and he most recently in the ITV made-for-television film The Man Who Lost his Head further cementing him as a talented and valued screen presence not just in New Zealand but also internationally. It is through these many successes that Pio is also in high demand as a MC and keynote speaker for corporate events and community functions.

Ben Austin |

Ben Austin has been compared with Ian Thorpe after winning a total of nine Paralympic medals throughout his swimming career. He is now one of Australia’s most recognized and successful swimmers of all time. Three time Para Olympian, World record holder, team captain of the Athens and Beijing Games, and a medal tally that inspires the likes of Grant Hackett and all of the Australian team. After a brief interlude where Ben contemplated his swimming future he decided to return to the pool in March 2010 and was successful in gaining places on the Australian Commonwealth games team and Australian World Cup Team where he will compete later in the year. |

Today, Laurie is a successful businessman operating the Laurie Lawrence Swim School and dedicates much of his time educating his staff and the industry on his remarkable teaching philosophies. Laurie will provide you an insight on Olympic experiences and what as teachers we can learn from the champions. |
