Women in Swimming Rural Coaching Scholarship 2013 Monday, February 18, 2013 | National The Women in Swimming Rural Coaching Scholarship (WSRCS) is a partnership between Swimming Australia Ltd (SAL) and the Australian Swimming Coaches and Teachers Association
(ASCTA) aimed at providing quality opportunities to women and increasing the number of female coaches in Australia.
WSRCS will target individuals who might not otherwise be able to access high quality coaching education from rural or remote communities. WSRCS will provide candidates with:

2012 National AUSTSWIM Learn to Swim and Water Safety Education Awards Friday, August 03, 2012 | National The 2012 AUSTSWIM National Aquatic Education Conference was recently held on the Gold Coast. This is the 4th year AUSTSWIM has held the National Conference at the Radisson Resort.
Leading the way in Aquatic Education the annual conference has established itself with not only providing a great weekend away but an opportunity for members of the aquatic industry to gain new and invaluable information to help assist in the continued growth and development of the industry.
Welcoming delegates from across Australia and from all corners of the globe, the conference proved once again to be a success with numbers reaching capacity registering over 400 conference delegates in attendance over the weekend.
On Saturday 14th July the AUSTSWIM Awards dinner was held with members of the aquatic industry gathering to recognise, honour and congratulate some of Australia’s unsung idols of lean to swim and water safety education. The evening had it all, Hosted by the Master of Ceremonies Duo of AUSTSWIM Ambassador Brooke Hanson and Kurt Hanson.
The Night was themed Black and White as AUSTSWIM along with Water Safety New Zealand, took the opportunity to launch the International Water Safety & Aquatic Education Conference- to be held in Queenstown New Zealand from 3rd-5th October 2013.

Queensland Aquatics Sustainability Program (QASP) Tuesday, May 17, 2011 | QLD ALFAQ has entered into an agreement with the DERM to implement an environmental sustainability program aimed at providing aquatic facilities with a range of tools to implement more effective practices in the usage of chemicals, energy and water, and the management and reduction of associated waste. The program will be referred to as the Queensland Aquatics Sustainability Program (QASP).
The QASP will involve 20 various aquatic facilities including indoor, outdoor and swim schools, undertaking a range of activities to reduce their energy, water and wasteage costs.
