CPR Information
A current CPR certificate (within 12 months) is required to gain and maintain the AUSTSWIM Award
- A CPR course provider must be a registered training organisation (RTO) or have a partnership with a RTO and comply with the guidelines of the Australian Resuscitation Council.
- Course candidates and Teachers with a First Aid certificate should note the CPR component is only valid for 12 months
Course candidates need to supply a photocopy of a current CPR certificate before an AUSTSWIM Award will be issued
AUSTSWIM Teachers need to maintain their CPR qualification every 12 months in order for their AUSTSWIM qualification to remain valid
- A copy is not required to be submitted however proof may be requested in the event of an audit.
